The Optimist Creed

#optimist #theoptimistcreed inspiration lifeprinciples Nov 05, 2022

There is so much chaos and distraction in our world today that we often forget to have a positive outlook towards life.  We get bogged down with adulting and responsibilities, distracted by technology, put pressure on ourselves do keep doing and punish ourselves when we have setbacks, fail or are let down. You can either allow them to destroy you or build you into a better and stronger individual.   It is all up to you.

Ask Yourself:

Are you truly happy?

Are you living your potential?

Are you living a life being unhealthy, miserable, in a job or relationship that is no longer fulfilling you?

Have you lost your creative urge?

Have you forgotten what is truly important?

Are you aware that you have a valuable gift within you to offer the universe?

I challenge you begin to apply these 12 principles to your life today and expect big changes!

I promise you that a spark of optimism will be lit from within you.

You will feel it and it will feel so good.  You will want more and more.  Your attitude will change, your days will flow better, you will handle challenges with more ease, opportunities will come to you, you will feel better about yourself and your life, you will attract good into your life and so much more!

Allow the power of these principles to guide you to a whole new mindset experience.

You have a gift within you to go out and touch people, to affect people. Understand it, appreciate it, protect it and use that gift.  Do not abuse it.  Cherish it.

You have it within you to become an Optimist.

THE OPTMIST CREED

Christian D. Larson (American New Thought Leader & Teacher 1874 - 1954)

Commit Yourself...

  • To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
  • To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
  • To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
  • To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
  • To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
  • To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
  • To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to greater achievements of the future.
  • To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.
  • To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
  • To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
  • To think well of yourself and proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
  • To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

So Powerful!

What a beautiful commitment to make with your life.

I am committed to practicing these principles in my life daily.  I have them printed out and framed in my home and office.  It's been years now. Everything has changed.  Let me know how they are working for you.

Love & Strength,
